RAPS: a new service for improved waste management
- 2 July 2007
Agritel Ltd, the Oswestry-based supplier of packaging products and recycling equipment, has introduced a new service to help businesses improve their management of waste material. The Recycling Advice and Planning Service (RAPS) is aimed at any company that needs to dispose of material such as plastic, cardboard, bottles, cans, oil drums and filters.
The RAPS concept is simple: Agritel carries out a survey of the company’s current and projected waste production, and makes suggestions for improved waste management.
“Agritel is well known as a supplier of transit packaging, but we also have a growing reputation for our expertise at the other end of the cycle,” says John Morgan, Sales Director. “We offer compaction equipment for a wide range of waste material, and provide an ongoing service by arranging collection and recycling of the compacted waste.
“Companies such as Kemira GrowHow, JSR Farms and Anchor Storage are already working with us and are seeing real benefits from improvements to their waste strategies.”
With waste disposal subject to ever-tightening controls and escalating costs, Agritel’s recycling solutions are environmentally responsible and can significantly reduce expenditure. And now RAPS, a no-cost, no-obligation service, gives individual companies the chance to assess the potential benefits for themselves.
